What are good outdoor potted plants for San Francisco, but not trees?

I have two Vietnamese flower pots about 12-14 inches in diameter plus an 8" diameter. I am looking for flowers I can show throughout most of the year.

Nandina domestica. Will look like it was made for your Vietnamese flower pots. From southeast asia, canelike stems and delicate fine-textured, lacy, colorful foliage emerges pinkish and bronzy red, then turns soft green. takes on some purple bronze tints in fall %26amp; fiery crimson in winter. Easy to grow, can't think of a bug that likes it, a real cool, nifty plant for your pot in San Fran. Check it out. Several sizes from dwarf 1 1/2 ft tall, a taller type to 3 1/2 ft tall.
Reply:Why ello good chap I would deeply suggest the zifindale yiachies they are a wonderful flower, they saved my grandma from the devil.
